I have always dreamt of this day. Growing up in Austin, there were a lot of creative perks and one of them was witnessing the fabulous Evita Arce arise from her hometown beginnings to international dance success. I took note. This is a woman who means business and has always been ready to take on the world. A fierce but kind presence that has given all of us nothing but joy. She met Simon Powis in New York City, where they both reside, one day at a coffee shop and the two eventually fell in love. Here we are today. Evita is a dancer and Simon is a classical guitarist. They both travel and perform around the world. Their wedding was everything you would expect, exceptionally classic. It wasn't trendy...it was a statement, a testament that exceeded everyone's expectations. From Simon's performance of L'Heure Exquise with his colleague Jacques Lee Wood to Evita dancing alongside her dance partner Michael Jagger, it was like stepping into a movie scene from the 1930s. My grandmother commented that the wedding guests "were some of the classiest bohemians" she had ever met. She was right. Haha! To Simon and Evita: I hope you all enjoy your honeymoon. We love you. We thank you. Please report back!

"I Can't Give You Anything but Love" is an American popular song and jazz standard by Jimmy McHugh (music) and Dorothy Fields (lyrics). The song was introduced by Adelaide Hall at Les Ambassadeurs Club in New York in January 1928 in Lew Leslie's Blackbird Revue, which opened on Broadway later that year as the highly successful Blackbirds of 1928 (518 performances), wherein it was performed by Adelaide Hall, Aida Ward, and Willard McLean.
